Christopher Scarver murdered Jesse Anderson before killing Jeffrey Dahmer in prison. But who was Jesse Anderson and why was he there?

We see Dahmer and Anderson effectively become friends in prison in Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, and it all builds up to their killings, which happened seconds apart.

Who Is Jesse Anderson & For What Crime Was He In Prison For?

American convicted killer Jesse Anderson was found guilty of murder. Jesse Anderson stabbed his wife five times in the head and face to death in 1992.

He then stabbed himself four times in the chest, but he survived; his wife, however, fell into a terrible coma and passed away two days later.

Anderson claimed that his wife and he were attacked by two black men. He showed the cops a Los Angeles Clippers basketball cap that he claimed had been knocked off the heads of the two men.

However, once his crime went public, a university student came forward and admitted to authorities that Anderson had bought the hate from him a few days before the murder.

Then, according to workers at a military supply store, Anderson bought the red-handled fishing knife that was used to murder his wife a few weeks prior and was found as evidence in his wife’s case.

He was found guilty on April 29, a week after stabbing his wife, and was given a 60-year prison term with no prospect of release.

Why Did Christopher Scarver Murder Anderson After Killing Dahmer?

The prisoner who killed Jeffrey Dahmer has revealed to The Post why he also killed another prisoner: because the man attempted to accuse black individuals of his wife’s murder and destroyed a painting of Martin Luther King.

While both Dahmer and Jesse Anderson, who was affluent, white salesperson. were serving life sentences for murder in a Wisconsin prison in 1994, Christopher Scarver claims he killed Anderson because he broke his personal prison code.

Anderson, 37, damaged a photo of the illustrious civil rights activist while he was imprisoned, making him a racist in the eyes of Scarver, a black man.

In a subsequent interview, Scarver stated:

“There was a picture in the arts and crafts room that a prisoner had spent a lot of time painting, and he hung it up in that location to dry. The now-45-year-old prisoner complained that Anderson “painted a blood dot on MLK’s forehead as if it were a bullet wound.”

Scarver claimed that he was also incensed by Anderson’s attempt to blame two black men for the murder of his wife.

On November 28, 1994, shortly after doing the same to Dahmer, Scarver used a metal rod to crush Anderson’s skull.

Was Jesse Anderson Murdered Right After Dahmer? What Is The Truth Behind This Claim?

Jesse Anderson and Jeffrey Dahmer were left unsupervised while cleaning a toilet in the prison gym with fellow convict Christopher Scarver, as was depicted in Ryan Murphy’s Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story on Netflix.

After a fight between Jeffrey Dahmer and Jesse Anderson, Scarver chased Dahmer into the locker room and hit him in the head with a steel bar. Contrary to how the Netflix series portrays it, he then killed Jesse Anderson, a 37-year-old man.

About an hour after the assault, Dahmer was pronounced dead, and Anderson passed away two days after being taken off life support at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.
