Travis Scott made Wemby nervous? NBA prospect has worst game in front of rapper
Rapper Travis Scott sat courtside Saturday to witness top NBA prospect Victor Wembanyama, who evidently was starstruck, playing his worst game in recent memory.
Wembanyama, 18, only scored 11 points in his team's blowout road win over Paris Basketball at the Halle Georges Carpentier sporting arena.
The Metropolitans 92 big man shot 4-for-11 from the field and only hit one of five 3-point attempts.
Wemby made up for his offensive struggles with six blocks, while adding five rebounds and two steals.
He went 2-for-2 from the free throw line and fouled out after 23 minutes of action.
Travis Scott meets Victor Wembanyama
Even at such a young age, Wembanyama has already proven to be prepared for the bright lights, so it's unlikely that having a superstar such as Travis Scott sitting courtside made Wembanyama nervous.
He did just enough for his team to win and it's a testament to his greatness that this game has been his worst in a while.
After the game, the rapper posed alongside Wembanyama and exchanged some words.
Wemby's height never ceases to amaze NBA Twitter whenever he is seen next to somebody new.
