Paula Dietz is known as the ex-wife of notorious serial killer Dennis Rader, nicknamed the BTK Killer.

Paula Dietz was born on May 5 1948 in Park City, Kansas. Not much is known about the family, siblings (if any), early childhood and education of Paula Dietz.

However, Paula Dietz’s seemingly peaceful life will take a wrong turn after she got married to Dennis Rader. Paula Dietz and Dennis Rader got married in 1971 and they had two children together; a daughter and a son.

Dennis Rader succeeded in hiding his life as a serial killer from his beloved wife Paula Dietz for 34 good years. Dennis Rader led two lives; one as the BTK killer and another as a family man and Christian, serving as president of the Christ Lutheran Church. Between 1974 and 1991, Dennis Rader had killed at least 10 people in the Wichita area in Kansas.

It is believed that three years into their marriage, Dennis Rader had already killed four people – Joseph and Julie Otero and two of their five children.

Dennis Rader was arrested by the police in 2005 and when his crimes came into the limelight, Paula Dietz filed for emergency divorce.
