París likes using collagen to keep her skin looking beautiful. "Collagen benefits the appearance of your hair, skin, and nails," says Amy Myers, MD. "It can also help in reducing the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks by increasing moisture retention, boosting elasticity, and smoothing out a dimpled appearance, as well as diminish the appearance of fine lines."
París is a huge fan of plant-based milks, especially almond milk. "Almonds are rich in nutrients that help protect the heart, including unsaturated fatty acids, phytosterols, magnesium, vitamin E, copper and manganese," says registered nutritionist Nicola Shubrook. "Two research studies in 2012 and 2014 found that including almonds in your diet may reduce the risk of heart disease, specifically in overweight individuals. Further research has shown that almond consumption helps to reduce LDL cholesterol which may, in turn, help to reduce the risk of heart disease.
París likes incorporating retinol into her skincare routine. "Retinol increases skin cell production (proliferation)," says the Cleveland Clinic. "It helps unclog pores. Retinol also exfoliates your skin and increases collagen production, which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, giving your skin a fresher, plump appearance."
París loves to make plant-based tacos with guacamole. "Avocados are high in fat with 60 percent of this being monounsaturated fats, which research suggests helps to protect against heart disease and lower blood pressure," says registered nutritionist Jo Lewin. "They are also an excellent source of potassium, folate and fiber, all of which benefit the heart and cardiovascular system.
París loves delicious fresh guava, which experts say is a great choice of fruit. "Guava is one of the richest sources of vitamin C," says Dr. William Li. "One guava provides double the Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) for vitamin C. That is five times the amount you would get from eating an orange."
